How to find us at the outdoor venue

Yellow jackets
● Yellow high-visibility jackets are worn by the club’s president and vice president at the walk assembly point.
Feel free to approach those representatives for more information about our club.

Our Club Advocates
● Sporting a colourful sash, our club advocates are ready to provide members of the public with information about our club.
● They have QR codes ‘at the ready’ which direct members of the public to our website.
● They also carry a small supply of business cards and/or flyers with all the details.
● Don’t be afraid to ask them about the walks we organise every Tuesday.

O.F.F.W.A. name badge
● Worn by members of the walking club.
Say a friendly hello to any of the club members; they will be more than happy to direct you to the membership officer or walk coordinator.

Over-55 polo shirt
● Proudly worn voluntarily by many members of our walking club.
For those that wish to participate, once you have joined the club, you may purchase a club-monogrammed polo shirt by completing an order form.

Corflute ‘lawn’ sign
● Drive, turn off or park near here
This yellow-coloured signboard – with QR codes – typically marks the driveway turn-off point that leads to our assembly point.
Another one is likely located close to the assembly area to advertise to members of the public about our club.

Green-coloured ‘feather flag’
● Assemble here
Look out for this green flag on arrival at the weekly outdoor venue.
This flag includes a QR code that takes members of the public straight to the ‘What we do’ menu of the club’s website.

Orange jackets
● Orange high-visibility jackets are worn by the club’s first aid coordinator and first aid volunteer(s).

First Aid Post
● For any medical incidents, speak with the trained first aid personnel.
● For medical emergencies call 000.
● Refer to your membership card for club contact phone numbers.

Weekly ‘sign-in’ for all walkers
● As a safety precaution, members attending the walks ‘sign into’ the event before they begin their walking, and then they ‘sign out’ once they return to the assembly point.
Sign up at the registration table when you arrive at the event, and don’t forget to sign out as soon as you have finished your walk.

Public address system
● Gather around for the Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., pre-walk briefing.
Our audio equipment has been upgraded for 2026.
Supported by Lotterywest.

Hiking poles
● The club has a supply of walking poles that may be borrowed – at no cost – by club members (or visitors) on any Tuesday walk day.
Supported by Lotterywest.
