โ— Cash prizes are handed out with each draw.
โ— Usually 2 – 3 draws per walk event (if participant numbers support it).

A-frame noticeboard

โ— Consult this board weekly for THIS week’s mud map.
โ— Consult this board weekly for NEXT week’s mud map.
โ— Important committee announcements and occasional interesting articles are included here.
โ— Club members also use this location to post and share helpful information.
โ— The other side of this noticeboard is reserved for information for the public, i.e., ‘what we do’, how to ‘contact us’, etc.

Our resident historian

โ— Say Hi to Gordon! ๐Ÿ‘‹
โ— As an enthusiastic and long-standing member of the club, Gordon provides historical insight into the areas that we visit.
โ— He conducts a short yet entertaining presentation during the pre-walk briefing.

And โ€“ if you watch his shoes ‘like a hawk’ (or eagle or docker) โ€“ you might be able to guess the colour of his socks before the big reveal.
If you know, you know! ๐Ÿ˜†

Free book exchange

โ— Volunteer club members actively manage our very popular and mobile ‘little free library’.

โ— It’s all for free!

โ— Check out the books on offer at the ‘book table’ each Tuesday.
โ— Borrow what you want, return when finished, and add to our collection if you are able.
