to try-out this FREE casual outdoor event.

Walk Direction – Walk No. 1
“Northern circuit”
➡️ head towards Perth’s ‘Optus Stadium’

Anticlockwise riverside circuit:
head upriver of the Causeway

Crossing the river at either
● Matagarup Bridge
(pedestrian-suspension bridge)
or
● Windan Bridge
(lower deck walkway)

Then downriver along the foreshore;
over Trafalgar Bridge at Claisebrook Cove;
Then crossing the river again at the cable-stayed Boorloo
pedestrian and cycle bridges
(parallel to ‘The Causeway’)
back to Burswood Park.

Windan Bridge:
   
The Windan Bridge has a dual-use pedestrian and cycle pathway located on the lower deck.

Matagarup Bridge:

A suspension pedestrian bridge crossing over the Swan River situated approximately half-way between Heirisson Island and the Goongoongup Bridge, it provides pedestrian access between Burswood and East Perth.

Walk Direction – Walk No. 2
aka “Around the Bridges”
 ➡️ head towards the South Perth foreshore

Anticlockwise riverside circuit:
head downriver of the Causeway 

Through South Perth foreshore; cross the river at ‘The Narrows‘,
go through the city’s CBD foreshore, and cross the river again at
the cable-stayed Boorloo pedestrian and cycle bridges
(parallel to ‘The Causeway’)
back to Burswood Park.

Boorloo Bridge:

A pedestrian and cycle crossing comprising two cable-stayed bridges that span two separate channels of the Swan River across Heirisson Island, linking East Perth and Victoria Park foreshores.
